Who is your target market/audience?
Every audience is different. Your marketing approach should match your audience. Your message should speak to your audience on their level of interest to reach them. Factors to consider include; ethnic & cultural background, sex and age.
Which media will be used to promote the product/service?
There are many types of media that can give your product/service visibility; from print ads to news articles to TV, Radio and Internet.
What are the benefits of your product/service?
How does your product/service positively impact your target market’s lives? Will it make them happier, healthier, wealthy or wise?
Is the product available and can you provide a sample to me?
It's easier to describe the benefit and features of a product one seen, used and touched.
Do you request customer testimonials on a regular basis?
No one sells your product better than a happy customer. The best time to ask for a testimonial is when your customer is most excited, usually soon after your product/service is delivered. A question like, “What do you like bests about my product or working with me?” can spark ideas more easily than simply asking for a testimonial.
Can you provide existing literature or promotion material on your product/service?
You know your product and industry much better than I do. The more information you can provide saves time getting me up to speed.
